Marble cake with real chocolate, dates and walnuts

INGREDIENTS - BATTER
2 eggs (yolks and whites separately)
160 g sugar
1 vanilla sugar
180 g butter
200 ml milk
200 ml whipping cream
250 g flour
1 baking powder

INGREDIENTS - CHOCOLATE FILLING
60 g cooking chocolate
100 ml milk

OTHER INGREDIENTS
Butter and course-ground flour for greasing and flouring the cake pan
12 pc dried seedless dates cut into small cubes
A handful and half of chopped walnuts and a handful of sultanas

METHOD:
Grease and flour the cake pan with butter and course-ground flour. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. When it is completely liquid, add milk and heat thoroughly - but do not boil, remove before boiling. Whip egg yolks with sugar, add butter, milk and cream. Add flour and baking powder and mix thoroughly. Add dates and nuts into the batter. After mixing the batter, separate about 1/3 and mix it with the chocolate. Beat the egg whites until stiff; slowly mix a larger part with the vanilla batter and the rest with the chocolate batter. First pour the vanilla batter into a cake pan, then the chocolate batter. Bake at 170 ° C for about 50-60 min.
